May Jesus Christ, our light and our salvation, be with you!

Once again, we are confronted with challenging words, not only from St. Paul, but also from Jesus Christ. These words are not to belittle us, but to challenge us to remain in right relationship with God.  We are challenged to live in the light  of Jesus Christ, who wants us to experience the joys of eternal life.

Our journey, at times, will be marked with darkness.  This is called temptation and sin.  One good thing about our journey is that Jesus never leaves us alone.  He continues to call us and invite us into His wonderful light, which exudes joy, happiness, hope compassion and grace.

When we find ourselves slipping into the darkness of sin, may we find the strength to call on Jesus and ask Him to grace us with His love and mercy.
