May Jesus Christ, the source and the way to our great reward in heaven, be with you!

We end this month of January with several events: the beginning of a New Year, several snow storms, strategic planning for our parish...and more.  We also experienced tragedies in our community, our country and our world through fires and other unfortunate events. All-in-all, we end this month assured of God's grace,  love and mercy.

As we continue our journey, leaning on the everlasting Lord, we are equipped with God's grace and the Holy Spirit.  Our life journey will always be filled with challenges and excitment.  However, no journey goes without rules, guidelines and a road map.  Our readings for today's Mass offer us guidelines: the BEATITUDES.  These words of Jesus, offer us guidelines for living lives of faithful service to God and to others.  Read the Beatitudes. Reflect on them and live them.

As we journey toward the eternal kingdom, experiencing all the varied events that cross our paths, may we use the Beatitudes as a guide, a road map, for a grace-filled, exciting and Happy Journey!
