May the grace and blessing of this holy season of Lent offer you hope and a deeper encounter with Jesus Christ our Savior!

We began the season of Lent on Ash Wednesday.  The readings gave us three points to work on:  a deeper and enriching prayer life; acknowledging those who can use our help through charitable works; and aiding those less fortunate.

Lent is an opportunity for us to look outside of ourselves and focus on others.  It is also an opportunity to reflect on Jesus Christ’s selfless act of love, mercy, and forgiveness.

Lent is a journey of repentance marked by the sharing of sacred stories central to our faith.  It draws us closer to Jesus’ passion, death, and resurrection.

During this holy season of Lent, we will come together either at Daily Mass, Sunday Mass, our Parish Lenten Journey, or our Faith Sharing groups,  to hear, reflect, or share sacred stories about Jesus and our faith.

May the season of Lent be a time to renew our faith and commitment to Jesus Christ.  May it also be a time for repentance, spiritual renewal, and a deeper encounter with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
