May Jesus Christ, the way, the truth, and the life, who leads us to eternal life, be with you!

We continue our Lenten journey of conversion, reconciliation, and hope.  We continue to peel away layers that bar Jesus truly touching our hearts and making his dwelling place within us.

In this season of Lent, we listen to the words from scripture, we pray for a deeper relationship with Christ, and we perform works of charity in Christ name.

The gospel story of the Samaritan woman is an example of that theme of conversion.  The Lord uncovered the woman’s sinfulness, offered her a life giving well of living water to quench her thirst, strengthen her hope and faith, and guarantee her eternal life.

May our Lenten journey continue knowing that Christ is with us, and offers us hope for eternal life.  May our Lenten journey continue to strengthen us as Christ disciples so that we may bring others to Christ and experience his mercy, compassion, love and companionship.
