May Jesus Christ, who is the way that leads to the Father, be with you!

We return to Ordinary Time in the Church.  This means that all special liturgical celebrations are over.  The seasons of Lent and Easter and the special celebrations that followed, are complete.  For the next several months the Church will be in Ordinary Time.  However, we continue to celebrate God's unconditional love for us; his mercy and faithfulness to us.  Even when we are down and in despair, our good God is there to help us.

The theme for today's Mass is "Come to me, all you who labor."  At times all of us find life burdensome.  But Jesus invites us to bring our burdens to him and he will give us rest, peace, hope, comfort, and compassion.

As you continue your spiritual journey, take the words of Christ to heart and learn to turn to him more readily when you are in need.
