May Jesus Christ, whose cross is a sign of His love for us, be with  you!

The summer is quickly coming to an end.  While we try our best to hold onto the summer months, reflecting on our summer activities or its peace, we  know we must begin to look to the future.  As we do so, we begin to get anxious about the activities that lie ahead.  On what new activities will our parish embark?  What future trips are planned for our parish?  What religious and social events are planned?  As St. Paul reminds us: "Discern the will of God, what is pleasing and perfect in God's signt."

As a parish community, we must look to the future.  How can we improve our parish life?  How can we continue to proclaim God's message through our speech, actions, and activities?  How can we "renew" ourselves spiritually?

Signs of a healthy and vital parish are visible when the entire community comes together to work together in fostering the mission of the Church and fulfilling its goals.

May we be responsive to the needs of others and may our purpose, mission and goal...be effective.  May we continue to be open to the guidance of the Holy spirit!

We have much to do in our parish.  Join me in working together so our parish will continue to be a healthy, vital parish.
