May Jesus Christ, whose love weaves us into a tapestry of holiness, be with you!

Each of us has a God-given gift.  We might question what that gift is, however, it is within us.  Once we find it, identify it, and claim it, do we use it to glorify God and help others?

Every year, our parish has Ministry Sunday.  It is an opportunity for every member of our parish to sign up and join a parish organization.  Within that organization, we bring our gifts to enhance that organization and the parish.

Perhaps we use our gifts around our community or other neighborhood organizations.

We are to use our gifts,  not for our own glory, but to bring people together and to help others.  While we await the coming of the Lord, we are entrusted with responsibilities according to our gifts.

When our journey on earth comes to an end, we want to hear those famous and wonderful words: "Well done my good and faithful servant, you have done well for Me.  Come up into the kingdom prepared for you."

As we continue our journey on earth, how have we used our God-given gifts?
