May Jesus Christ, the giver of peace and the way to eternal life, be with you!

We continue our spiritual journey in the Easter season.  The Easter flowers, the Paschal Candle, the Alleluia songs, and the scriptures read at Mass, are reminders to us not to forget that great event of Easter.  These are reminders to us of Jesus Christ's love for God the Father and for us.

The Easter season continues to nourish our faith in Christ and challenges us to be witnesses in Christ's name.

Peter's faith in Jesus enabled him to work signs and wonders. The other disciples traveled the world proclaiming their faith and sharing the blessings they received from Christ.

We are challenged not to stand around and gossip about others or just to expect good things to happen to us. Rather, the priest, at the close of Mass, says: "The Mass is ended, go in peace to love and serve the Lord." We do this in Jesus' name, challenged by the meaning and message of this great season of Easter.
