May Jesus Christ, who makes his dwelling among us, be with you!

We are quickly approaching the end of this Easter season. It is a rather extended liturgical season which helps us prepare for the coming of the Holy Spirit.  During this time we prepare for our entrance into eternal life while, at the same time, renewing our spiritual armor as we continue our earthly journey.

Our Easter readings remind us of how we are to conduct our lives as faithful followers of Jesus Christ: always hold onto our faith even in times of tribulation and social challenge; keep Jesus as the center of our lives; live according to the teachings that Jesus offered to us.

Doing all this, Jesus reminds us that he will send us a helper, in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will keep us on track as we journey to eternal life.

May we remain faithful in our dedication and commitment and diligently keep the promises that we made on Easter Sunday: reject sin, live according to the gospel and the commandments, and remain Jesus' faithful followers.
