May Jesus Christ, who reminds us to PERSEVERE in prayer, be with you!

To recap last Sunday's Tenth Anniversary Celebration of our parish, I want to thank everyone who made our celebration a success.  Beginning the day with a joyful, uplifting, energizing Mass, and ending the day with a beautiful Gala, will go down in the historyof St. Cyprian Parish as events to remember.

A special thank you to the Anniversary Planning Committees, the Choir, the Nigerian Igbo Community, the Ushers, Greeters, Lectors, and  Eucharistic Ministers.  To all who participated in the Mass in any way: Thank You! To all who participated with the Gala: Kudos to you!

It was truly a day to be proud to be a member of St. Cyprian Parish.  Our prayers for our parish, guided by the Holy Spirit, will continue to make St. Cyprian Parish the "place to be," to worship and be spiritually fulfilled.  Therefore, keep our parish in your daily prayers.

Our readings for today's Mass remind us to pray always, for our needs and the needs of others.  The readings remind us to be persistent in our prayer. May we continue to take the words of today's readings, especially the gospel, to heart.  When we pray as Jesus taught, all things can be possible.
