This is PALM SUNDAY................................ Treat your palm with respect. Place it where it will be a reminder of Christ's love, poured out for us. Pray that more churches will purchase ECO PALM, the palm harvested and sold by small third world farmers. This can help to end their suffering and improve their quality of life. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Reinstitution of Communion with the Cup of the Precious Blood and Sign of Peace At the beginning of the Flu season, the Archdiocese encouraged every parish to discontinue the distri- bution of the Precious Blood at Communion, and the physical sign of Peace. As of March 14, the arch- diocese gave permission to re-institute the Precious Blood and the physical Sign of Peace, since the Flue season is over. We will re-institute the distribution of the cup of the Precious Blood on Holy Thursday.

Pastor's Message for Palm Sunday, March 28. May Jesus Christ, who died and rose from the dead for our sakes, be with you!
Today, and this week, we begin the most solemn and holiest time of the liturgical year. We are reminded, through scripture this week, of w hat Jesus Christ did for all people, especially for believers. We are reminded of His supper, His service to others, His agony, passion, crucifixion, death, and resurrection. In a spiritual way, we experience these events.
I strongly encourage you to participate in the Masses during this Holy Week. This is the time we truly profess our faith in Jesus Christ.
On Good Friday, in addition to the Passion Service of the Lord, we will celebrate the Seven Last Words of Jesus. This is a beautiful prayer service with reflections given by parishioners. Join us at this time.
At the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night, several people will be baptized and received into the Catholic Church. We welcome them and will continue to pray for them.
Join me, and our entire faith community, as we celebrate Holy Week: the Triduum of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. May this week truly be a time of grace and spiritual growth; of transformation, newness in Christ and of a resurgence of faith!
